Nkosingiphile Gumede 7.5/10
Gumede put up a Man of the Match performance with numerous saves that kept his side in the game and ensured a share of the spoils.
Nkanyiso Mngwengwe 6.5/10
Mngwengwe made some crucial tackles and although his goalkeeper was Man of the Match, he also contributed to the clean sheet.
Justice Chabalala 6.5/10
Probably should have sealed the game for Pirates but his shot sailed way over the bar, but his job as a defender was crucial for his side tonight.
Musa Nyatama 6/10
A key man in the Pirates midfield, Nyatama pulled the strings in midfield and would have been disappointed to see so many chances being wasted considering the amount of work the midfield put in.
Kudakwashe Mahachi 7/10
The pacey player was troublesome for the Buccaneers but was unfortunate not to be able to score a goal. He kept the opposition defence on their toes throughout the game.
Thabo Matlaba 7/10
Matlaba put in a decent display tonight as he and Musa controlled the midfield. He also managed to get some shots at goal and his involvement in the game was crucial.
Thabo Qalinge 4.5/10
Qalinge’s good run of form seems to have faded as the player has struggled to step up for his side when it matters most. His missed a clear chance really put his team on the back foot for a while.
Nduduzo Sibiya 4.5/10
After a poor first-half, he was substituted at halftime and the coach saw that he would not be getting anything out of Sibiya.
Nkanyiso Cele 5/10
Cele was somewhat absent tonight as he struggled to stamp his authority on the game. Arrows looked to suffer in midfield and Cele needed to step and he didn’t.
Thamsanqa Gabuza 4.5/10
A lot is expected of Gabuza but his failure to deliver is becoming a constant drawback for him. He needs to get on the score-sheet and put in some good performances.
