Denis Onyango: 6.5/10
The Sundowns goalkeeper had a decent day in office, as he commanded his area and was key to keeping a clean sheet.
James Okwuosa: 7/10
The Nigerian defender was solid for Chippa throughout. He protected his goalkeeper well and got the Man of the Match award.
Anele Ngcongca: 7/10
Ngcongca got a rare start today but made the most of it. He was a welcome addition to the Sundowns rearguard, winning his key battles.
Tiyani Mabunda: 6/10
Mabunda was in control of the midfield and he, along with Hlompo Kekana, ensured Sundowns’ moves flowed throughout the game.
Hlompho Kekana: 6.5/10
Captain fantastic. The Bafana Bafana international was in great form today as he played a crucial role in the Sundowns midfield.
Mpho Mvelase: 6/10
Mvelase was contesting his battles well and put in a good shift for Chippa down the left flank.
Worst:
Sibusiso Vilakazi: 5/10
Vilakazi has been blowing hot and cold and his recent performances have left a lot to be desired.
Moeketsi Sekola: 4.5/10
It just was not Sekola’s day today. He could have really done a lot better to help his team
Paseka Mako: 4.5/10
Did not perform as expected today. When called upon he normally delivers but could have done more for his team.
Oupa Manyisa: 5/10
Sundowns fans are still waiting to see the best of Manyisa. Ace need to step it up a notch.
