Kaizer Chiefs striker, Bernard Parker, has admitted that the lack of goals the Chiefs strikers are enduring is a cause of concern.
The Amakhosi have struggled to get going in the league under new coach, Steve Komphela, this season.
Chiefs currently sit sixth on the log with 11 points from seven games. They have only managed to win two of those games, against Free State Stars and SuperSport United, while they have drawn the remaining five.
The mounting number of draws is a cause for concern and with the team unable to find the net on regular occasions, the pressure is beginning to mount on the forwards.
Parker has indicated that the players are concerned about the lack of goals and are working on rectifying the problem.
“Of course it is worrying, but it’s not a train smash. It would be more worrying if we were not scoring at all,” Parker told Soccer Laduma.
“But we are working on it… not just as strikers but as a team… because we all win together and lose together,” he added.
Are you concerned about the lack of goals this season and the inability for Chiefs to secure wins? Or do you think it is a just a dip in form and something that can be overcome?
