AmaZulu FC are closing in a historical season, and are in the running to qualify for the CAF Champions League but coach Benni McCarthy says he is not ready to entertain those talks yet.
Usuthu are currently sitting in the second position in the DStv Premiership log, with a good chance to qualifying for the continental showpiece if they keep their good run of form.
The former Bafana Bafana striker, speaking with media in Durban, says for now, as a club they not focusing on the Champions League, as they still need to finish up this season.
"Me, I smell Givenchy perfume, I don't know how CAF smells. Never been there, but I would like to go there one day," McCarthy said.
The Durban side still have to face Baroka FC, Orlando Pirates and Swallows before wrapping up their most successful season against Maritzburg United and Benni is aware that anything can still happen.
"In the games that are left, there are so many things that can still happen. Our focus is not on CAF, our focus is on doing what we've never done before individuallly and as a team," he added
"AmaZulu has never been in this situation before and we want to see how far we can go. We tackle every game as it comes. I will only talk about CAF after our last game with Maritzburg United."
