A move for former Chippa United midfielder Lindokuhle Bengu to Thailand is on the cards, with the Mzimkhulu-born player attending trials in the Thai Premier League.
Bengu jetted out of the country for his trial in Asia, being the third PSL player to try his luck in Thailand within the space of a week. AmaZulu players Siyabonga Vilane and Belux Kasonga left the country last week, as they target a move abroad.
Bengu’s agent, Ali Tlhoaele of KN Sports and Virgin Talent, confirmed to the Siya crew that the 26-year-old has joined the Usuthu duo in an attempt to secure a new deal.
“Lindokuhle Bengu who used to play for Golden Arrows and Chippa United has jetted out of the country for trials in Thailand. He joins my other two players (Siyabonga Vilane and Belux Kasonga) that I have sent that side. They will all be attending trials in the Thai Premier League,” said Tlhoaele.
