SuperSport United coach Stuart Baxter believes the Gauteng Champion of Champions tournament will be useful.
The Absa Premiership is currently on a break due to FIFA's international fixtures, but some of the local players will get a run out in the Gauteng tournament.
United coach Stuart Baxter told journalists that this event will help the team keep fit and active during the break.
"This is an important tournament for us as a team as it will help us remain fit during the break but it's also very important because it's meant for the community," said Baxter.
"There are people who are going to benefit from this tournament and that's good coming from the teams."
