Kaizer Chiefs will be defending their Gauteng Cup on Sunday when they play the winners of the fixture between University of Pretoria and Bloemfontein Celtic, at Loftus Stadium in Pretoria.
The team recently returned to Naturena from a preseason camp in Nelspruit, with coach Stuart Baxter feeling confident that his players are looking good.

He told the Siya crew that the camp in Nelspruit helped the team unite, and although they had a great season last campaign, Baxter says that this will be a new challenge.
"Last season was a good season. It was fantastic season but we won't dwell in the past. We want to have another great season. Everyone in the team who is fit is looking good. They are understanding each other and they understand what we want as a team.
“We would want to achieve more and start by defending the Gauteng Cup on Sunday. We will take one step at a time and one game at a time,” Baxter concluded.
