The Siya crew has learnt that Kaizer Chiefs’ head coach, Stuart Baxter, will be returning to South Africa later than expected, although will be back in time for when the team regroups for pre-season.
Baxter, who won the PSL’s Coach of the Year award for his exploits in the Absa Premiership last season, left Mzansi for a holiday in Sweden at the end of the campaign as he looked to take a break before preparing for Amakhosi’s title defending 2013/14 season.

While the 59-year-old had been due to return to the country on June 26, he now looks set to come back a couple of days later.
The Glamour Boys begin their pre-season on June 28, with the club’s players undergoing their medicals ahead of the next campaign, before starting full training next Monday.

All of the club’s players are expected to be present on the 28th when they undergo their medical examinations, even though some of the squad players, such as Abia Nale, are expected to be leaving in the near future after being transfer listed.
Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will clash on July 27, with the title of 2013 Carling Black Label Cup champions up for grabs.
