Angola have stated that after playing to a goalless draw against Morocco in their opening game of the Africa Cup of Nations, they will be targeting a win against South Africa.
The Palancas Negras of Angola take on Bafana Bafana at the Moses Mabhida Stadium this evening and defender Bastos tells the Siya crew that there is no need for them to sit back and defend.
Bastos believes that they will need to go out and attack their opponents if they are to record a victory.
"We have nothing to lose. We just have to go out there and enjoy ourselves. We have to go out there and enjoy ourselves. I think against Angola we put ourselves under pressure to win and we made some simple mistakes.
“We tried hard to defend and forgot to attack when it mattered. Tonight we won't defend as there is no reason to defend. We need a win and we have to attack South Africa to get that win," the defender explained.
