Baroka FC have made yet another U-turn on a player, with one of the team’s new signings released by the club.
Last week, Baroka parted ways with Ivorian striker Armand Gnanduillet, who had recently been signed by the club.
News reaching the Siya crew is that the Limpopo outfit has followed that up with releasing Mashale Rantabane as preparations for the new season under new coach Wedson Nyirenda are currently underway.
Having finished the 2017/18 season playing for Mthatha Bucks in the National First Division, Rantabane was signed by Bakgaga for the new season, before the club decided to part way with him.
Contacted for comment, the player’s representative Lizwe Mthethwa of Aftesec Sports Group confirmed the latest developments.
The centre-back had initially signed a three-year contract with the Limpopo outfit.
