Doctor Khumalo has officially parted ways with Baroka FC, where he has been the technical director, as well as a stand-in coach at the end of last season.
According to Bakgaga, after acquiring the services of a new head coach in Wedson Nyirenda, a decision has been taken to do away with the position of technical director for them to maintain a state of financial health.
The Limpopo club confirmed parting ways with the South African football legend and former midfield ace on its official Twitter account.
Doc joined Baroka in a shock move in August last year, after he surprisingly parted ways with Kaizer Chiefs. The Amakhosi legend joined the Limpopo club as their technical director during the time when Kgoloko Thobejane was still the team’s head coach.
Khumalo finished last season coaching Baroka on the interim, after the club parted ways with Macdonald Makhubedu, who had been their caretaker coach.
