The Siya crew has been informed that Baroka FC have parted ways with a striker.
The Limpopo outfit recently unveiled their new players ahead of the 2021/22 season, but there are some who are making way. One of those is attacker Naeem Amoojee, who is believed to be on his way out the club after a brief spell with the Bakgaga.
Amoojee joined Baroka at the start of last season after spell with Tshakhuma Tsha Madivhandila (now Marumo Gallants) in the GladAfrica Championship, but was unable to break into coach Matsimela Thoka’s starting line-up. He made just one appearance for the Limpopo outfit in the DStv Premiership last season, in a 2-2 draw against TS Galaxy.
The 24-year-old was sent out on loan to GladAfrica Championship side TS Sporting for the second half of last season. While on loan to Sporting, Amoojee played 11 matches and was used mostly as a winger, contributing with three assists.
According to information received by the Siya crew, the forward has not returned to Baroka for the upcoming season and is in search for a new home for the 2021/22 campaign.
