Baroka FC are, allegedly, refusing to issue Thobani Mncwango and Sifiso Mbhele with their clearances, who have joined Polokwane City.

The two players recently signed two-year contracts, respectively, with City, but according to a source close to the club, Baroka are requesting compensation from City before releasing the players.
“Polokwane City on the other side feel that they shouldn’t be paying any compensation for the two players because they signed them as free agents, following the expiry of their Baroka contract,” said the source.
Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi of Rush Hour Sports Management, the company that represent Mbhele, confirmed to the Siya crew that his client is having difficulty in acquiring his clearance from Baroka.
“We are still negotiating with Baroka for Mbhele’s contract, but we’re having difficulties because they want compensation from City. We’re hoping to resolve this problem soon because the player has already signed with City and wants to play for them this season,” said Mulovhedzi.
