Baroka FC have confirmed some of the players on their way out of the club, ahead of the new season under the team's new coach.
Having already appointed a new head coach for the start of the 2018/19 season in former Zambia senior national team coach Wedson Nyirenda, Bakgaga are now expected to unveil the ex-Kaizer Chiefs striker – the new man in charge of their technical bench – as well as the club's new signings this week.
As confirmed by the Limpopo outfit, the unveiling of the new coach, as well as the announcement of new players and technical sponsor, is scheduled to take place at the club’s offices in Lebowakgomo.
For the time being, Baroka have confirmed that Lewis Macha, Punch Masenamela, Khutso Mohwatseleng, Mzwanele Mahashe and Rethabile Soso are some of the players released by the club.
In other news from the Limpopo outfit, the Siya crew has learnt that Fani Mthethwa is likely to take over as the team’s assistant coach under Nyirenda.
Mthethwa is a qualified aspiring Mzansi coach, who played in Qatar during his professional football career, and has spent time with the development teams of Wits University and the University of Cape Town during the early stages of his coaching career.
