Emmanuel Baffour is unlikely to join Jomo Cosmos this season, although there have been talks of interest in him from the NFD side.
The Ghanaian is looking for a new club this season, after he was deemed surplus to requirements at Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of the 2012/13 campaign.
The 24-year-old told the Siya crew that he is not interested in playing for a club in the NFD at this stage of his career.
“I’m trying to get a club. But the problem is that the transfer window has closed. But if a player has his clearance he can go to any team he likes.
"They (Sundowns) were supposed to take me to Jomo Cosmos. But I told them that I don’t like the club. I told them that I don’t like playing in division one.
"I would love to play in the big league so that I can play for my national team,” said Baffour.
