The Siya crew has been informed that Jomo Cosmos are interested in acquiring Emmanuel Baffour’s services, who has been deemed surplus to requirements by Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Ghanaian forward was signed amid much fanfare at the beginning of last season, but found game time hard to come by at the star-studded side and will play no part in Pitso Mosimane’s side going forward, having been released by the Brazilians.
He was eyeing a move to Belgium during the transfer window, but the deal fell through and, according to Siya sources, Ezenkosi have put up their hand and declared their interest in the Ghanaian.
It was revealed in today’s edition of Soccer-Laduma, issue number 838, that Black Leopards are monitoring the striker’s situation closely, however Cosmos are keen on the payer too.
In addition, African Warriors are looking to bring Baffour on board, with the club looking to bolster their striking department.
As reported by the Siya crew, Baffour is wanting to continue with his football in South Africa and is stands, there is interest in the player.
