Despite the disappointment of failing to qualify for the final round of 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying, Bafana Bafana are preparing for their scheduled international friendly against Zimbabwe on Tuesday.
Bafana will go into the midweek game on the back of an impressive 4-1 victory over Botswana, although the team’s dream of qualifying for the World Cup in Brazil came to an end, following Ethiopia’s win against Central African Republic in the other Group A game.
The South African Football Association has since confirmed Bafana’s preparations for the game against Zimbabwe on SAFA’s official website.
“Bafana Bafana will have a training session at Orlando Stadium this morning (Monday, 09 September 2013) starting at 11h00. Zimbabwe, who are arriving at 09h00 this morning, will train at the same venue at 20h30. South Africa and Zimbabwe meet in an international friendly match at the Orlando Stadium on Tuesday, 10 September,” safa.net revealed.
The game is scheduled to start at 20:30 on Tuesday, in Orlando, Soweto.
