News reaching the Siya crew is that Bafana Bafana could play a friendly against Swaziland in November.
The South African Football Association (SAFA) has already lined up a high-profile friendly for Bafana against Spain.
According to a source close to SAFA, another friendly for Bafana has been arranged for a date earlier than the game against Spain.
“Swaziland are waiting to face Bafana Bafana four days before the friendly against reigning world champions Spain. It is a warm-up match that will take place on the Friday before the game against Spain. The venue for the match is yet to be confirmed,” said the source.
The game against Spain is scheduled for Soccer City on November 19. It was at this stadium that Spain won the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
SAFA’s head of communications Dominic Chimhavi confirmed to the Siya crew that preparations are in place for the game to happen.
