Bafana Drop Again In FIFA Rankings

Following last month’s loss to Brazil, South Africa have dropped down two places to position 66 in the latest FIFA/Coca Cola World Rankings.

Bafana Bafana, who failed to qualify for the World Cup, have also moved down to position 14 from 12 in the CAF rankings.

With the national team not playing another game before the next release of the FIFA rankings on May 8, South Africa could see themselves further down the rankings.

South Africa will take on Australia and New Zealand next month, and Bafana coach, Gordon Igesund, will be hoping that his team does well in these games to move up the rankings.
