Ayanda Patosi is likely to leave Lokeren in the next transfer window, with his business manager say that he needs to move on to benefit his career.
The 21-year-old winger has been in and out of the Lokeren side this year under Peter Maes, despite impressing for his club when called upon.
In the past Patosi has been linked with clubs such as Chelsea and Ajax Amsterdam, though it seems his next move will not be to such a big-name outfit, and will be in search of a team that is willing to give him an extended run in the first team.
Speaking to the Siya crew, Patosi’s business manager, Rob Moore, explained that it was time to leave for him.
He said, “The coach at Lokeren has just extended his contract, and that is obviously bad news for Ayanda as he hasn’t used him much. It’s clear that Ayanda’s future at the club is questionable and that needs to move on.”
As it stands Lokeren have three games left before their season comes to an end, and it may be that the club’s fans will see Patosi in their colours for the last time if he features for them this month.
