Palacios Lauds Moloi At Chippa
Augusto Palacios Commends Tebogo Moloi
Former Orlando Pirates coach, Augusto Palacios, has lauded Tebogo Moloi for his work on the technical bench at Chippa United.
Palacios is one of the coaches who worked closely with Moloi, during the former midfielder’s time as an assistant in the technical team at Pirates.
Following Moloi’s recognition from the league, after he was given the Absa Premiership Coach of the Month award for November, Palacios joined many in the football fraternity in congratulating ‘Tebza’ for a job well done.
“I am very happy for Tebogo and what he’s achieved so far at Chippa United. I know Tebogo as a player and I was also there when he started his coaching career. He coached at our academy as well as the Pirates development. He’s also coached the national U17 team before becoming the Pirates assistant coach,” Palacios told the Siya crew.
Pitso Mosimane of Mamelodi Sundowns is one of the coaches who has also publicly congratulated Moloi for the progress he is making in his coaching career.
“I took him to Colombia and I’m very happy for him because he has gone through the development ranks and is now working as a head coach. He’s got the continental experience, won the treble and that experience will not go to waste. He must keep improving himself, work harder and remain consistent. I believe he has a very bright future in coaching and I wish him everything of the best for the future,” concluded Palacios.
Under his guidance, Moloi has managed to lead Chippa to position five on the Absa Premiership log, since taking over from Dan Malesela in September.
