Word reaching the Siya crew is that veteran former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Andre Arendse will join SuperSport United as their goalkeeper coach for next season.

Arendse served as Wits' goalkeeper coach under Clive Barker last season, but his future became uncertain at the Students following Barker’s departure.

Last week, Arendse admitted to the Siya crew that he was unsure whether he would continue working for the Students or not next season.

But now it seems that SuperSport have shown some interest by offering him the goalkeeper coaching position at Matsatsantsa. This position was held by Deshi Bhaktawer last season.
