Experienced Chippa United midfielder Andile Mbenyane has been applauded after scoring in his first start of the season.
Under previous coach Lehlohonolo Seema earlier in the this season, Mbenyane struggled for game-time after making only one substitute appearance in eight league matches.

However, the return of Dan Malesela to the Eastern Cape outfit seemed to have worked well for the 32-year-old as he made his first start of the season on Wednesday against SuperSport United, scoring a goal as Chippa fought hard to earn a point away from home in the 2-2 draw.
“Andile is a talented player but there are other aspects of his game that we need to work on. But when he is playing you have the comfort that the ball will be secured. There will always be progress towards goals,” Malesela said about the former captain.

“With him and his experience and him being surrounded by youngsters that can complement what he lacks in terms of maybe speed and stuff like that, he will be able to do something for us,” the coach added.
