The Siya crew can reveal that Kgothatso Semenya is on a mission to follow in the footsteps of his brother by playing football in the PSL.
The 26-year-old is the younger brother of Thabiso Semenya of Platinum Stars.
The left-back is currently training along with his older brother at Dikwena with a hope to impress Allan Freese and his technical team at the MTN8 and Nedbank Cup champions.
Semenya played for Mpumalanga’s MP Highlanders in the SAFA Second Division. The defender told the Siya crew that his wish is to play in the PSL in the not-so distant future.
“It’s been two weeks now – I think. It’s nice training with a PSL team. It is my wish to play in the PSL because I’ve been playing in the Vodacom League (Second Division) for some time,” said Semenya.
The older Semenya told the Siya crew that he has been pleased with how his younger brother has coped with training at PSL level so far.
