Pirates Player Denies Chippa Move
Another Orlando Pirates Player Has Denied Signing With Chippa United
Along with the confusion surrounding the move by Orlando Pirates' Thabo Matlaba to Chippa United, it is believed that another Bucs player will not be making the move to the Chilli Boys.
Chippa officially confirmed on July 20, that Matlaba, Thamsanqa Sangweni and Bernard Morrison has put pen to paper on a contract with the Port Elizabeth outfit, however, it was recently established that Matlaba is still with the Buccaneers’ setup and has not made the move away from the Soweto giants.
In addition, Morrison has also taken to his official Instagram account to thank the Pirates family and add that his move to Chippa is ‘fake news’.
“Let me start by saying many thanks to the chairman and @orlandopirates as a whole for opening up their home to me,” Morrison said in part.
“Lastly, let me clear the air about my move to ‘chippa’. There hasn’t been any form of proper communication between my management and Chippa United so I don’t acknowledge their statements and allow me to say that’s fake news. NOT SIGNED WITH CHIPPA UTD,” the player added.
