The Brazilians announced three weeks ago that the veteran administrator, Tsichlas, had been appointed Chief Technical Advisor at the Brazilians, and according to a source he will be acting as the eyes and ears of president, Patrice Motsepe.
The source indicated that the president is not happy with how the club is currently being administered and is looking to make some changes.
“Why do you think the president brought in Angelo? It’s to stabilise things. He (Tsichlas) ran the team before and the president believes he can help change things for the better at the club.
“It’s about things like the signing of the players and their welfare after signing for the team. You know the president is not hands-on everyday as far as the team is concerned, so he needed someone who he can trust who can help him run the team with the guys there.
“Since Kenneth Makhanya left, things have not gone as planned and Angelo has been brought in to stabilise things and be the president’s ears and eyes,” the source explained.
