Ngcongca Due Back In SA, Downs Lead Chiefs
Bafana Bafana international, Anele Ngcongca, is due back in South Africa next week after terminating his contract with Racing Genk in Belgium.
The 28-year-old fullback spent nearly a decade contracted to Genk before his termination this week, with the former FC Fortune man originally joining the club back in 2007.
Now, as he looks for his next move, Ngcongca is set to fly back to Mzansi at some point next week to discuss the way forward with his representatives.
It is thought that the defender has options both locally and overseas at present, but that it is Mamelodi Sundowns leading the way over Kaizer Chiefs in the local stakes if he is to join an Absa Premiership side.
As things stand, the former Troyes loanee remains undecided on his future, but with football seasons now getting underway he will be eager to find his next destination sooner rather than later.
