Jali’s Masandawana Contract Details Revealed

Speculation regarding Andile Jali’s future was finally put to bed today as he chose Mamelodi Sundowns over Kaizer Chiefs, and the length of his contract has now been revealed.
Jali was a free agent having left KV Oostende in Belgium earlier this year, with the club agreeing to terminate his contract early as he planned a return to South Africa.
Now, with the 28-year-old having decided his future, it has been confirmed that he has put pen to paper on a hefty five-year deal with the club that will stretch until beyond his 33rd birthday.
Speaking to Sundowns’ official website, AJ said, “I feel good to have signed for Mamelodi Sundowns. At last this deal is done. It’s been dragging for a long time. Now I can relax before the season starts. I have recovered from the injury, I am good to go. I passed the medicals. Now I am ready for Sundowns to tell me when to come to training.”
Jali’s contract at Chloorkop will run until 2023 after his signed his new deal, and he will now have his eyes set on winning trophies in Mzansi once again after a four-year stint in Europe.
