Kermit Erasmus will be a doubt for Cape Town City’s next game, as he still nurses a hamstring injury.
The 29-year-old, who is up there with the top goalscorers in the Absa Premiership, was forced off during the 17th minute in City’s 0-0 draw against Highlands Park, struggling with his hamstring.
The striker however, as confirmed by his head coach, was nursing the injury even before their trip to Black Leopards, which was the only league fixture that Erasmus has missed this season.
However, as the Citizens continue to fight their way up from the bottom half of the league standings, indications are that Erasmus could also be a doubt for their next fixture against Chippa United.
“He already had a hamstring injury in the last game, he had it before. I hope (he will be available for Chippa), but I have my doubts,” Head Coach Jan Olde Riekerink said after the game.
