AmaZulu are in negotiations with Kaizer Chiefs for the services of Abia Nale, as reported in the latest edition of Soccer-Laduma, issue 804. The Durban-based side have targeted the talented midfielder, as coach Craig Rosslee looks to strengthen his squad.
A source within the Usuthu camp confirmed with the Siya crew that the former Golden Arrows man is one of the players that has been earmarked by the club during the current January transfer window. However, the source added that the coach is reluctant to discuss the targets.
“At the moment the coach doesn’t want to speak about the players he wants and stuff. He feels that we need to first sign players and talk about them later. The thing is that when you want a player it’s not like you the only one but there are other clubs interested in him as well.
“Some of these players are contracted to teams. There is a process of negotiations that we need to respect. There are players that we want. There are players that we’re talking to teams about. But the coach felt that we must just stop mentioning names. I can confirm that there are players that we are chasing,” said the source.
AmaZulu are hoping to secure Nale on a loan deal until the end of the season, however Siya sources have indicated that negotiations between the two clubs are dragging.
