AmaZulu coach, Craig Rosslee, has revealed that his side will give Tapuwa Kapini and Sadney Urikhob enough time to recover.
The two players are struggling with injuries, as was recently revealed by the Siya crew. Kapini is struggling with a neck injury, while Urikhob is recovering from a foot injury.
Rosslee told AmaZulu’s official website that Kapini’s situation is being monitored by the club.
“At the moment it’s not good for him (Kapini) because we have to see what the situation is with his neck after the two weeks. If it’s more serious than anticipated then he will be out for quite some time and might need an operation,” Rosslee told amazulufc.net.
Rosslee says Urikhob will be introduced to the team slowly during friendly games to test his readiness.
“Sadney has broken his foot on two occasions now and in a scenario like this you can’t rush a player back. We have to be precautious because we can do a lot of damage if we try to bring him back quicker than we need to. The most important thing is that he finishes full training session with the team and then we’ll slowly bring him back with the friendly games. That’s the only way to make sure that the player heals properly,” Rosslee told AmaZulu’s official website.
