AmaZulu coach, Craig Rosslee, has revealed that he is happy with the signings made by the team in the January transfer window.
Rosslee is confident that both Nhlanhla Shabalala and Ruzaigh Gamildien will add value to his team in the second half of the season.
The two players joined Usuthu as replacements for Letladi Madubanya and Mohammed-Awal Issah respectively.
Madubanya was placed on the transfer list in December, while Awal disappeared from the side before the end of last year.
“Firstly, we’ve released two players in Awal and Madubanya so we had to replace them, and Shabba comes in with a lot of experience and he’s a defensive and holding midfielder. Gamildien is a fantastic player and we thought he’ll add quite a bit of steel in our squad in terms of creativity and also in terms of goals.
"He’s also a free-kick specialist and he’s got a great feeling for the game, not only in terms of ingenuity on the field but also in terms of contributing in the goal-scoring department. He likes to get forward and Shabalala on the other hand will provide great competition for Madondo in the midfield,” Rosslee told AmaZulufc.net.
