AmaZulu have moved a step further in the process of finalising a deal for Tshepo Liphoko to turn out for Craig Rosslee’s team in remaining games of the 2013/14 season.
Although the KZN-born player is still unavailable to play for AmaZulu in tonight’s game against SuperSport United in Tshwane, Usuthu management hope to finalise Liphoko’s deal while the team is still in Gauteng for a chance to have him in the next game against Ajax Cape Town on February 4.
“We are in Jo’burg right now and that is one of the things we are working on. We are playing tonight and hope to have everything (on Liphoko) finalised today. We return to Durban tomorrow.
"The boy is from Durban and he is there at the moment. We came here to finalise everything on him as part of our plans. He has been training with us. We are working on sorting his papers and stuff and sign him afterwards,” AmaZulu’s team manager Japhet Zwane told the Siya crew.
Liphoko had a loan spell with AmaZulu’s neighbours Golden Arrows last season.
