AmaZulu have exercised the option on Goodman Dlamini’s contract, that will see the midfielder at the ZwaZulu-Natal side for at least one more season.
Dlamini’s original contract with Usuthu was set to expire in June, however the club has opted to hold onto the 25-year-old following an impressive showing for the team this season.
AmaZulu’s general manager, Peter O’Connor, confirmed with the Siya crew that the Nongoma-born player will be retained for another season.
“I can confirm that we have exercised the one-year option that we had with Dlamini. We are happy with many of our players. Those that are in coach Craig Rosslee’s plans are all contracted beyond this season,” said O’Connor.
AmaZulu recently exercised their option on Tamsanqa Teyise’s contract. However, the club has not yet indicated whether Tsweu Mokoro will continue his time at Usuthu, with the experienced player seeing his deal expire in June.
