Shitembi At AmaZulu

AmaZulu are expected to sign midfielder, Petrus Shitembi, to reinforce the squad for next season. Shitembi, 21, was previously with the University of Pretoria.

The Namibian has been in club search, since parting ways with Tuks earlier this season. He struggled for game time under Steve Barker at Tuks.

AmaZulu team manager, Japhet Zwane, confirmed to the Siya crew that the player is training with the side.

“He is here. He is impressive. Everything else will depend on the coach,” said Zwane.

Shitembi will be expected to join countrymen Willem Mwedihanga, Larry Horaeb, Sadney Urikhob and Pineas Jakob if he signs for the KZN outfit.

AmaZulu have been busy with preparations for next season. The club signed Bornwell Mwape from Zambia, while Kuda Musharu and Eddy Emomo from Zimbabwe and DR Congo respectively had trials with the side.
