A number of players are being affected by several squad changes taking place at AmaZulu ahead of the new season.
Usuthu have confirmed parting ways with two players, putting six players on the transfer list, while sending two others on loan.
“AmaZulu FC have transfer listed six players ahead of the new 2018/19 campaign. Goalkeeper Mpendulo Dlamini, defender Simphiwe Mtsweni, midfielders Zola Jingxi, Boysen Mbatha, Nkanyiso Zungu and Zaakir Williams have all been put on the transfer list by the club,” confirmed AmaZulu on the club’s official website.
“Dlamini and Williams could not make a single appearance during the 2017/18 season, while Jingxi and Zungu spent some time out on loan at Richards Bay FC, and Jomo Cosmos FC respectively. Mbatha made six appearances in the Absa Premiership, while Mtsweni featured in 13 games in all competitions,” added the club.
“Meanwhile, the club has parted ways with striker Menzi Ndwandwe and attacking midfielder Skhumbuzo Mazibuko, who were loaned out to Uthongathi FC, and Real Kings FC respectively last season.
“Lastly, 25-year-old midfielder Lungelo Dlamini and promising defender Sibongiseni Mthembu have left Usuthu on loan. Dlamini has joined Royal Eagles FC, while Mthembu will turn out for Uthongathi in the new National First Division (NFD) campaign,” confirmed the Durban-based club.
