News reaching the Siya crew is that AmaZulu have appointed Marc Grune as the club’s head of youth development.
AmaZulu’s head of youth development position has been vacant, following the departure of Ronnie Moroka to Thanda Royal Zulu last month.
Usuthu’s general manager, Peter O’Connor, confirmed to the Siya crew that Grune has been appointed to fill the position at the KZN club.
“There were several other interested people in the job. But we felt that we needed to get the right man for the job. We believe that Mr. Grune is the right man to lead our youth development,” said O’Connor.
Grune previously worked as the CEO of Mpumalanga Black Aces. He is expected to add his experience to the youth structures at AmaZulu, to help the club produce up and coming players for the future.
