A brace from Geoffrey Massa and an Atusaye Nyondo penalty secured a 3-1 win for AmaTuks over Free State Stars at the Absa Tuks Stadium on Tuesday night.
The win sees AmaTuks move up to 11th on the Absa Premiership log with 14th points.
The host took the lead in the second minute, after Geoffrey Massa had been brought down outside the box, Massa took the free kick and smashed it past Daniel Agyei.
Tuks doubled their lead in the fifth minute, as Massa slotted the ball pass Agyei to get his second of the night.
In the 19th minute a header from Stars' Sadat Ouro-Akoriko went just wide, following a corner from Danny Venter.
Stars were at it again in the 29th minute, as a free-kick was whipped in by Mongezi Bobe, but Soriola Gege could only head his effort wide of the right post.
The host extended their lead in the 50th minute, Atusaye Nyondo scored from the penalty spot after Massa had been fouled in the box by Sibusiso Mthethwa.
Washington Arubi was called in to action in the 51st minute, Camaldine Abraw's effort drew a fine save from Arubi.
A minute later, Lucky Mokoena tested Arubi with a shot from distance, but Tuks number one parried the ball away.
The visitors pulled one back in the 74th minute, Katlego Mashego slotting pass Arubi after being set up by Danny Venter.
In the 83rd minute Abraw had another effort at goal but the striker's shot went just wide.
