University Of Pretoria midfielder, Thabo Mosadi, says being crowned Man-of-the-Match against Ajax Cape Town has motivated him to do more.
The Katlehong-born player said the award is a sign of bigger things to come, and is also due to the hard work of his teammates.
“Winning the award gave me the best feeling ever as it was my first in the PSL. It tells of the hard work we put in at training during the week, I’m glad hard work is recognized. We are united as a team, we take our job seriously and the commitment made it possible for me to get that recognition. We’re now starting to play well and this award will hopefully push all of us to do better for the club,” said the 23-year old.
Tuks have won three of their previous games and were eyeing their fourth win as they visited the Mother City.
“A draw was enough for us especially considering that we played Ajax away. We aimed for a win but they stopped that so getting a point is better than nothing at this stage of the league. Our mission to be in the top five is not dented but we need more wins still. We can’t lose now, it’s either we win or draw,” said Mosadi.
Tuks are placed at position 11 after 22 games with 27 points, and they will host Gavin Hunt’s Wits tomorrow at home.
