Amajita head coach, Thabo Senong has laid what he believes will be the recipe for success for his charges ahead of the U20 CAF African Youth Championships in Senegal.
Senong Names His 21-man-squad for the AYC's
The U20 squad open their AYC campaign with a fixture against Ghana on Monday, March 9 before playing Mali on March 12, and will then round it off with an assignment against Zambia on Sunday, March 15.
Senong alluded to the anxiety which exists among his players ahead of the tournament however emphasised the need for belief, dedication and focus as a recipe for success.
“We are ready for the games. When you have desire to do well, have a good spirit and you are united in a common cause, results will take care of themselves, " said Senong on the SAFA website.
“The philosophy on settling nerves in a coaching environment is normally to get an early goal. We are not in an easy group, but we have come here to do well, qualify for New Zealand and pick it from there.”

“This is the future; we are building the future South African team. It is never about me but developing the future generation and my main aim is to leave a lasting impression. I want to contribute to the nation-building,” concluded Senong.
