Amajita striker Lyle Foster says the upcoming CAF U20 second leg qualifier against Mozambique is posed for goals.
The 17-year-old Orlando Pirates striker says the team has set their sights on scoring goals when they play in front of their home supporters.
“We did the groundwork in Mozambique. Even though we are going to be cautious in this match and make sure that they don’t score we still want to score two or three goals,” Foster told the crew.
“The game against Mozambique helped in allowing us to gel as we had never played together before. Our tactics won’t change much but we are going to be more offensive. The guys are determined to advance to the next stage of qualifications.”
Being one of the few PSL players at under 20 level, the Bucs frontman said the focus was purely on the national team and not on individual status.
“There are no club players here at camp. We are all national team players and that is the only thing that matters,” he concluded.
The second leg clash between Amajita and Mozambique will be played at the Moruleng Stadium on Saturday 20 May 2018. The match is set to get underway at 15h00.
