Almost A Clean Bill Of Health For Amakhosi
Kaizer Chiefs are looking in good shape for the restart of the Absa Premiership season, with Stuart Baxter being able to boast an almost clean bill of health.
The Amakhosi were battling with a handful of injuries going into the Christmas break, with the likes of Itumeleng Khune, Willard Katsande and Kgotso Moleko all nursing some form of knock.
However, the Siya crew have now been informed that every player that was injured prior to the break is now back to full fitness and ready to pull on the Glamour Boys jersey when the season begins again next week.
Chiefs’ only current injury concern is on-loan midfielder, Phakamani Mngadi, who is currently nursing a muscle injury and could be out for a couple of weeks.
Baxter will no doubt be pleased to have a full squad at his disposal as their 2015 begins, especially given his intentions of challenging for the Absa Premiership, CAF Champions League and Nedbank Cup titles.
