Free State Stars defender, Sadate Akoriko, is expected to be out from any football action for two to three weeks, after picking up an injury.
The Togolese was replaced in the first of half of the game against Mamelodi Sundowns on Tuesday. Ea Lla Koto lost the game 2-1.
Akoriko confirmed to the Siya crew that he is working with the team’s physiotherapist at the moment to try and speed up the healing process.
“It is a small injury that should take two to three weeks to heal. I’m with the physiotherapist as I speak,” said Akoriko.
Stars have the likes of Tshepo Motsoeneng and Reuben Thebakang struggling with injuries. The team is preparing for the next game against Polokwane City on March 29.
