Word reaching the Siya crew is that Ajax Cape Town are considering the possibility of making a move for Wits midfielder, Bhongolwethu Jayiya.
The 23-year-old has made just six appearances in all competitions for The Clever Boys so far this season, and has often been used as a winger when he has been given the chance to play, but has also featured up front.
Jayiya could be keen to make a move away from Braamfontein in order to chase regular game time, though it remains to be seen as whether Wits would be willing to let him go or not.
The attacking midfielder currently has just six months running on his current contract with Wits, although they do have a year-long option left on him, one that they could exercise should they not want to lose him for free.
Ajax are believed to be on the lookout for new additions in the January transfer window as Muhsin Ertugral looks to improve the club’s league position in 2014.
