Ajax Cape Town have confirmed that they have signed PSL contracts with Ayabulela Magqwaka, Rivaldo Coetzee and Riyaad Norodien.
The Siya-crew reported earlier this week that Amajita captain Magqwaka would sign and join fellow Amajita star Coetzee at first team training.
Soccer-Laduma had reported that young forward Norodien was on the verge of signing a contract with Wits, and had they were close to agreeing on terms, but Ajax managed to convince the player, who has been with the club since he was ten, to sign with them.
All three have been part of a very successful team in the Ajax youth development, winning the Engen Knockout Challenge and the Metropolitan Premier Cup title, both three times, and were part of the team that won the prestigious 2013 Copa Amsterdam.
Magqwaka joined the Ajax Academy at age 11 year old, while Rivaldo joined the club three years ago after being spotted during a youth tournament.
Ajax Cape Town Coach, Muhsin Ertugral said on the Ajax website, “As you know Ajax Cape Town have a great Youth Development program and the club is committed to developing their youth players.
“Every year we promote youngsters to the PSL team. At the start of this season we signed five youngsters from our Youth Academy to the PSL side.
"The trio have been training with the PSL team for the last six months and they have impressed.”
