Word reaching the Siya crew is that Ajax Cape Town have invited Roses United duo, Joseph Henyekane and Luyolo Mapolisa, for trials during the preseason.
As reported by the Siya crew, Henyekane and Mapolisa recently joined struggling NFD Roses United on short term deals until the end of the season.
However the duo could find themselves back in the PSL next season if they impress Ajax coach Roger de Sa during their trials there in June.
Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi of Rush Hour Sports Management, the company that represents both players, confirmed to the Siya crew that Henyekane and Mapolisa have been invited for trials at Ajax.
“Yes, it’s true that the two players will go down to Ajax Cape Town for trials, but for now they’re focusing on helping Roses to escape the axe,” Mulovhedzi told the Siya crew.
Apparently, Ajax coach Roger de Sa wants to add some experience to the young Ajax squad and has earmarked the two players as possible targets.
Henyekane and Mapolisa will be free agents in June and their deal with AmaRoza ends at the end of the season.
