Alexander Reveals Ajax Focusing On Arrows

Ajax Cape Town are fresh from a 1-0 victory over Moroka Swallows and midfielder, Cole Alexander, has revealed that they now focus on Golden Arrows.

The Urban Warriors will welcome Abafana Bes’thende at the iconic FIFA World Cup Stadium, they last played a game at this venue last on the 07th of February. They have been using the Athlone Stadium due to the CAF Chan tournament which was held in Cape Town at the beginning fo the year.

However, the midfielder said they have done well by getting three points against Swallows although they played badly.

“Things are looking good for us and the fact we went to play away to swallows and came back with three points is something huge for us. We had to go and get the points because they beat us at home you know. We didn’t play a good game but we’re happy for the points. Our game against Arrows is also a big one. Yea look, we respect them though they’re rooted at the bottom of the log. We’ve been analysing their weaknesses and planning for this one so I hope we can get the points again.

“We still have to fight for a top eight spot and we can’t undermine Arrows because they’re a also fighting to escape relegation come end of the season. We’ve been using Athlone and it’s great to go back to Cape Town Stadium, we plan to give our fans something to cheer about. We plan to keep working until we’re happy with our situation, we can’t relax,” said Alexander.

The Ikamva-based club is at position 10 after 25 games with 31 points, the proceedings get underway at 19:30.
