The Latest On The Ajax Ndoro Situation…

Ajax Cape Town Have Provided An Update On The Tendai Ndoro Situation

By Soccer Laduma - Jun 19, 2018 03:12 PM

Ajax Cape Town are currently awaiting ‘a special email’ following last week’s two court hearings.

The Urban Warriors appeared in front of the High Court on Thursday and Friday, where the Cape Town-based club sought to review the award of arbitrator William Mokhare regarding the docking of points from Ajax will be heard.

Ajax were also present to see the court to order that they are reinstated to 15th position and earn the right to participate in the relegation/promotion play-offs.

However, according to the club’s communications manager, Shooz Mekuto, the club is currently awaiting the final ruling with regards to the next step of the process.

“We are not too close, obviously the champion, we have our trust in him, that he is taking us (in) the right direction. But we can’t conclude is where to from now because it is too early, especially with the fact that the two days were reserved for the actual submissions from both parties. It wasn’t going to be concluded over the fact that the judgement won’t be set immediately. We are all waiting for that special email that tells us what’s the next step. Our gut feeling, probably around six of where we (were) supposed to be,” Mekuto told the Siya crew.

Not only does the management have hope but the players too. Spoke to some players and they believe they have a chance to play the play offs again. They blaming the PSL for the current situation.

@setlaboswana nothing is complicated here ajax broke the rules if lets say arabian league season was overlaping with us then ajax would have a chance of winning the case but in this situation arabian league doesnt overlap with our league they run the same seasons so by that ajax lose the case simple as that

Ajax is fighting a losing battle they broke the rules in terms of the exception is when seasons of different countries overlap so in this case saudi arabian league season runs exactly like us 2017/18 so thats why ajax lost the case @Mketule 1 you are correct @Maclane must go check saudi arabian league and he will c they run exactly like us so ajax must go to NFD rules are clear they wont win any case they broke the rules and force playin Ndoro even thou they were warned they should have not played Ndoro immediately when there was a protest to play him but no because they thought they knew they forced so they must suffer for their own consequences thats it

@Maclane kindly read page 16 and 17 of overdue payments that Ajax raised but did ndoro never notified fifa and saudi association. He just agreed on termination of contract. Lastly their arguments are also based on the decision took by PSL. Now PSL was wrong to allow Ndoro to play but that doesn't mean that they are not wrong. Same case like the one of Oscar Pistorius. The first judgement was wrong based on facts and the correct judgement is taken. Ajax used a player who was registered by 3 teams in one season.

Ajax wake up!!!!Ndoro played for Pirates and the turkey team and Ajax in 2017/2018 season. Period. Look at it this way, the play offs has been concluded and resources have been exhausted by the relevant teams and the league. How does Ajax think that the process can be reversed for them only????.Ajax are a big team and all they need to do is go to NFD and spend 1 season and they'll be back in the PSL. Top of the cherry they'll have learned valuable lessons that they must never ignore the rules in future and rely on money and technicalities. Good bye Ajax see you next season 2018/2019 if you ever make it back.

@Maclane did you check the commencing date and the end of the league season of Saudi Arabia's 2017/2018? Same as us and ended in April 2018. Ndoro's case was so simple for PSL to take decision. Ajax argument are that Ndoro's salary was not paid by Al Fasaily but then Ndoro didn't follow fifa's rules of taking the matter to fifa but agreed to terminate his contract with the club. That doesn't mean he never played for that team. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Safa's advocate decision. Ajax is going down.
