Information coming to the Siya crew's attention is that Ajax Cape Town captain, Dominic Isaacs, has extended his stay at the Ikamva-based club.
The player’s contract was coming to an end in a month’s time but the club had a one year option to renew. The Mitchell’s Plein-born defender revealed to the crew that he will feature in red and white club's colours next season.
The former Bloemfontein Celtic central defender said he’s delighted to have stayed at the club and he’s looking ahead to 2014/15 season.
“I’m enjoying my off season as we speak and I’m delighted to have extended my stay at the club. The club took up the option to extend my contract with a year. I will be at the club next year and I’m happy.
“Everything was discussed at the beginning of this past season and when we just wrapped this season, the management called me. I just signed after meeting them including Ari (Efstathiou). The club was quite happy with my input in the past season and they decided to extend my contract with a year,” said Isaacs.
The captain started 23 league games plus two cup games and that convinced the management to keep the 31-year old defender.
