Information making its way from the Ajax Cape Town camp is that the club are waiting on papers for their four foreign players.
The crew understands that Nigerian the striker, George Akpabio, Malawian forward, Robin Ngalande and Zimbabwean defender Milton Ncube are yet to get their work permits.
Although Akpabio is said to be on his way to PSL returnees, Chippa United, if both clubs agree on the deal, however, the crew has learnt that a permanent move back to the Chilli Boys is on the cards.
Speaking to the crew, the club’s media and communication officer, Milo Boer, said the papers could be sorted anytime from now.
“Yes George is training with the team but waiting for his papers. I think that might happen anytime from now. Robin and Milton as well are still waiting for their work permits and it might happen that we see them playing tomorrow against Bidvest Wits,” said Boer.
On the other hand, the crew has also learnt that the club's American-born forward, Noah Sadoui, is also in the list among players waiting for permits but could be ready anytime from now.
The Urban Warriors will host Gavin Hunt’s Wits tomorrow night at Athlone Stadium and will hope to have their foreign players available. The match gets underway at 19:30.
